~Transformation of spirit into matter...who is the "I" I think and feel I am?~

 

~I dreamed I was a dreamer dreaming myself in a dream...who am I?...what am I?...where is the me that is looking outside of this body?...am I merely the summation of unrelated parts acting as one or something else?  Or something else?~

 

This work represents a transition period for me in my work.  I am exploring issues that surround existence, how we become the individuals we know and think are ourselves.  Is "I" something separate from the physicality of ones body or is it integral to it?  Do the heart, brain, lungs etc. form the "I" or does it function through the body as light emits from the physicality of the bulb?
